Inspired by the 2010 "mishap" that created the original Wild Turkey Forgiven, this eighth chapter in the Master’s Keep series is a sophisticated blend of 13-year-old bourbon and 8- to 9-year-old rye. Master Distiller Eddie Russell elevated the original concept by selecting significantly older stocks and finishing the harmonized blend in secondary rye casks within the legendary, pre-prohibition Rickhouse B—a favorite of his father, Jimmy Russell.

On the nose, this 105-proof limited edition is remarkably fruit-forward, opening with bright notes of orange peel, honey, and caramel popcorn. Because of the high rye content and secondary cask aging, the aroma is also layered with earthy rye spice, fresh mint, and a touch of sandalwood. The palate is rich and velvety, delivering a complex "sweet-meets-savory" profile of dark fruit cake, toasted pecans, and creamy vanilla.
